Training courses are available for one to five days, and are tailored to the needs of your institution. Students receive copies of the two books and printed class notes. The course alternates between lectures and hands-on exercises; if classroom computers are not available for in-class programming, the exercises are introduced during class. |
Bioinformatics programming takes considerable experience to master, but you can start applying your skills in the lab very quickly. The students in a one-day class get a useful introduction to Perl programming for bioinformatics. Students in a five-day class master beginning level programming, and get a solid introduction to more advanced topics. |
